Dr. McCabe’s online booking is now available!

If you have not seen Dr. McCabe in over 6 months or you want to be seen for a new injury, a re-assessment appointment is required.

For Motor Vehicle Insurance Patients and WSIB chiropractic patients, please contact the clinic to book.

REGISTERED MASSAGE THERAPY

Please note, our massage therapists’ online booking is only available 3 months in advance.

We are unable to provide direct billing for massage appointments. If you have benefits and plan to use them for your massage, your invoice will include all of the information needed so that you can be reimbursed quickly.

We are also not accepting Motor Vehicle Insurance and WSIB massage appointments.

Registered Massage Therapy

Amy Sluys is a graduate from the massage therapy program at Fanshawe College, and has completed additional courses in Geriatric massage as well as Cupping Therapy.

Amy has always had a passion and love for the elderly community and has massage experience in long term care facilities which is where she solidified her love for massaging seniors. Amy also has experience massaging children/pediatric clients and makes sure that the treatment is effective, fun, and enjoyable for all ages. Although she loves massaging both young and old, Amy loves each and every age group and thoroughly enjoys massaging all ages in between.

Whether it be relaxation, specific treatment, or cupping therapy with the massage, Amy uses a vast variety of techniques suited for each case, symptom, injury, and individual. Whether it be Swedish massage techniques, stretches/ exercises, trigger point therapy work, she makes sure to tailor your treatment to benefit your specific needs, as she strives to improve your overall wellbeing.

Outside of massaging Amy is often spending time with her grandparents, with her family and friends, reading, and caring for all her beautiful houseplants and flowers.

Mackenzie was born and raised in Chatham, Ontario. After high school, she moved to London, Ontario, where she studied Massage Therapy at Fanshawe College. When she graduated she moved to Banff, Alberta where she started her career as a massage therapist. With experience in a spa and clinic setting, she is eager to provide both relaxation and therapeutic support to her clients.

With a goal to continually expand her knowledge and contribute to the well-being of others, she aspires to make a positive impact on each individual she treats through various massage techniques. She uses a multitude of techniques to treat stress-related injuries as well as acute and chronic injuries. These techniques can include deep tissue or relaxation by using myofascial release, stretching, trigger point therapy and general Swedish massage.

Dr. Matthew McCabe was born and raised in Chatham. He completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Wilfrid Laurier University before attending Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where he graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Dr. McCabe has been a part of the Peach Physiotherapy since February 2015.

Dr. McCabe not only takes a great interest in patients’ injuries and rehabilitation, but also in empowering patients who are looking for optimal wellness. While he believes that it is crucial to seek appropriate care to treat spinal, joint and muscular pain, Dr. McCabe also stresses the importance of safe and effective movement. Since graduation, Dr. McCabe has completed gradute training in the areas of concussions, movement rehabilitation and exercise prescription.

In his spare time, Dr. McCabe enjoys playing sports, exercising, and spending time with his wife, family and friends.
